It involves utilising photochemical processes in which light causes chemical monomers and oligomers to cross-link to form polymers. Those then make up the body of a three-dimensional solid.

Thanks to the fact it involves the use of layers, you can create much more intricate details. However, it’s not suitable for jigs and fixtures or functional prototypes.
