3D printing is used in a wide range of industries, including medicine, industrial, construction, architectural and technology sectors.
High detail resin printing is the perfect choice if you want to produce finer details, whether for medical models or computer hardware.
Here at 3D Revolution we offer two different techniques: more basic FDM printing and high detail resin 3D printing (otherwise known as SLA 3D printing). Delivering to customers all over the world, we love helping you create attractive jewellery, miniatures and gaming, and art models.
Otherwise known as stereolithography, SLA 3D printing is also ideal for building prototypes.
Quick and available to make any design, it’s more of an investment than FDM printing. The process involves the layer-by-layer creation of models, prototypes, patterns, and production parts.
It involves utilising photochemical processes in which light causes chemical monomers and oligomers to cross-link to form polymers. Those then make up the body of a three-dimensional solid.
Thanks to the fact it involves the use of layers, you can create much more intricate details. However, it’s not suitable for jigs and fixtures or functional prototypes.
The lead time is around 3-5 days and you’ll have a range of colours to choose from.
